The path of life has many ups and downs and it is always very uncertain what will happen next. That is why we needs a Guru or a teacher to lead us to the path of righteousness so that whatever work we do in our life we do it the right way and we do not do any harm to others. Guru Purnima is one such day when the Guru or the teacher is worshipped for the work they have done for their disciples. Every year in the month of Ashadh this festival is celebrated and there are many schools too where this festival is celebrated with gust and galore.
Guru Purnima celebration in school is something to be seen. The students gather in their school on this auspicious day and there are various programs that are hosted. The teachers get a day off on this day because the students worship them on this day. In the programs there are various classical songs that are sung by the students. These songs are not any song but they are especially meant for the teachers. It shows the relation of a teacher or a Guru with their disciple or student. The concept of Guru Purnima goes long back but it really great to see that even now it is celebrated with so much enthusiasm in the schools.
Apart from songs there are different recitations and shloks that are read out which are dedicated to the teachers. If we see the pictures on the internet then we will find the Guru Purnima celebrations in various schools. All the teachers line up to see the programs organized by the students for them.
